    Hello, Is it possible to monitor the electric current of each motor of a FANUC CRX 10iA/L and use that data as input for the code? I plan to use this information to stop the robot's movement when it makes contact with a workpiece. Then I can activate the "stop code" to halt the robot and subsequently activate the "gripper on" to pick up the workpiece. Do you have any ideas for improving this stop-and-pick-up process? I would greatly appreciate it if we could discuss this further. 1. How to detect the workpiece 2. How to stop the robot after detection 3. How to proceed to the next step Thank you.

    Hi, How to use the FANUC CRX 10iA/L integrated force sensor in placing work piece? I am using proximity sensor to detects the work piece and when robot aboutto place the work piece it uses the force sensor to feel the floor or previous work pieces. I need a help

    I made an installation like you and download the right version for our robot. In roboguide the robot appeared and other setups to the left panel. BUT there is no data in teach pendant, like programs of data etc. Have you any idea what I did wrong?

      so if you've created a NEW cell, the robot data will be empty, if you've created cell from a backup all data should be there

      @@FutureRoboticsChannel i created New Cell -> then create a robot from file backup-> then aoa ba. I can see my the servo tables and my robot at the screen but not programs or data inside the teach pendant :(

      @@EmmiEk-jx3vj hmm that's interesting, were there any errors during cell creation ? Did you need to hit SKIP for any program ? I have not encounter that type of issue before

      @@FutureRoboticsChannel No errors during cell creation. There is in a left panel my robot, group 2 of my servo table and group 3 other and right machines and so on. But in teach pendant when I hit select there is only 1 -BCKEDT-, 2 GETDATA, 3 REGMENU, 4 SENDDATA.. mut none of my programs and also I/O is empty

      I found the way to get programs to roboguide manually but still work to do how to get IO data.

    How did you instal the MH Valve Setup? Is it possible to install it in any robot?

      It a software option, yes you can buy and install MH Valves on any robot

    we have Fanuc R-2000id robot and it has SERVO-449 DCS DOMON alarm (SFDO18).I checked the safety board and flashing red so is that means replace the safety board? could not find anything teach pendent. any sugestion?

    What if I haven't done the position registers and I have no idea what joint and tool frames are used. Can I figure out that somewhere?

      Unfortunately you cannot, PR just store values that can be use for any purpose, so you won't be able to figure out what frame was used when touching those up if any. If you know your program and have the 4D option and a lot of free time you can always try to create a program with all PR's that you want to use and change the frames and on 4D display you will see where the positions are in space, maybe that will help with determining what frame was used, but I'm not sure if that's what you are looking for

      You can enable Auto Captition (the CC button) and then under settings (the gear) you can select subtitles and auto-translate.

    How can you use a needle for your TCP? Do you subtract the length of the needle after you set the TCP or did you have to reteach positions to that new TCP with the needle in the gripper?

      So the needle in the gripper was actually used later to teach User Frame for a vision system

    Hello, What program can I use to make a copy of the HDD from a KRC4? Is there any extraction method for the HDD other than using a standard PC? Regards

      You can use any cloning software. I have used Acronis and worked quite well.

    Thanks for the Video. One Question: We are using robots in conjunction with a turn&tilt table working as external axis. With ABB Robots we are able to move the WorkObject(User Frame) dynamical when tilting and turning the table. Is there a possibility to do something like this with fanuc? We are using this to do a cordinated motion between robot and turn&tilt table.

      I do believe it's possible, when you are setting up the external axis, there are 2 ways: either the base will move with the axis or the frame remains stationary when you are moving the external axis. I've worked only with second option, as in most cases it was just an RTU, but for you, try the first option and that should do the trick

    I work at Tesla and I have Company laptop. Today I downloaded roboguide from resource hub and I after insrallation software I am trying create new cell and after pressed finish button every time I see message: "graphin screen initialize failure..." how can I solve this problem? I run this program as administrator and I have installed rg as administrator

      I'm not sure, most cases if that happens right after installation it is possible that the installation failed, so you might want to try to reinstall and see if that helps, otherwise you can just contact FANUC and send them the screenshot they should be able to help out

    Thanks for the great video! One thing I'm confused about though. You have to map flags via rack 34. Does this mean you can't map EthernetIP io to a flag, because that uses 89? If so, what kind of input can you actually map?

      To the best on my knowledge you can't map a Ethernet device directly to a flag, you need to use either BG logic or interconnect to accomplish that.

      I think you are referring to Tool Model of the DCS, this blue bubble can be changed under DCS settings by modifying the tool model

    Our fanuc arc mate 50il was recently refurbished and needs to be mastered and zero program. Unfortunately the witness marks on the joints were either painted over or are no longer there. Can creating a zero program still be done without them?

      You can always do a Fixture Mastering (you need the fixture for that), other than that you can try to play with a level and set positions according to that. I don't know of any other option. I would recommend calling FANUC, getting them there for zero fixture mastering (you need to remove robot tool for that), and once done make new marks, to have them for future

    i have made mixed logic in bg logic like this: IF (AI[2]>4000 AND R[20]>90),(DO[162]=OFF) to stop program but it ignores that register number and stops as soon as ai2 goes to 4000. Is it written correctly?

    Hello I have a question. I have a fanuc robot, and I kept getting spot weld retry fault only on weld #1 and #3 only. So far we replaced E1 motor, E1 motor w/brake cable due to other faults, leaf shunt, ISO contactor and AUX contactor. But we're still getting faults again. Do you know if I'm missing something?

      I mean I would check why you are getting that fault looking at the weld parameters and current curve, this should tell you what's wrong
